며칠 전, 나는 찬미와 미나랑 함께 동물원에 갔다.

우리는 미나의 카메라로 사진을 찍으며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다.

나는 원숭이를 흉내내면서 재미있는 자세를 취했다.

찬미와 나는 미나에게 사진들을 나중에 보내달라고 요청했다.

미나는 그렇게 하겠다고 있다. 어제 나는 학교로 가는 길에 찬미를 만났다. 

안녕, 유진아. 우리 학교 웹사이트를 확인해 봤니?

최근에는 안 봤어. 내가 봐야 할 것이라도 있니?

미나가 나에게 메시지를 보냈어. 우리가 동물원에서 찍은 사진들을 학교 웹사이트에 올렸다고.

정말? 그 애가 나에게는 아무 사진도 안 보냈어. 내가 나중에 확인해 봐야겠어.

나는 미나에게 전화했다.

여보세요.

나 유진이야. 나는 네가 당장 내 사진을 삭제해 주길 원해.

우리의 즐거운 경험을 다른 사람들과 나누는 게 재미있지 않니?

너는 먼저 내게 묻지 않았잖아. 나는 내 사진이 올라가길 원하지 않아.

나는 네가 왜 화를 내는지 모르겠어.

나는 전화를 끊고 생각했다. 내가 너무 까다로운가?

몇 시간 후, 내 사진은 여전히 거기 있었다.

몇 명의 학생들이 내 포즈를 놀리면서 많은 악성 댓글을 달았다.

얘 정말 웃겨.

정말 원숭이 같아.

너 바나나를 원해?

아마 전생에 원숭이였나 봐

오늘 아침, 나는 창피함을 느끼면서 학교에 걸어갔다.

미나는 단지 그녀의 즐거운 경험을 다른 사람들과 나누고 싶어했을 뿐이다.

하지만 유진은 창피했고 화가 났다. 무엇이 문제였을까?

Lesson 6 Be Thoughtful on the Internet

A few days ago, I went to the zoo with Chanmi and Mina. 

We had a lot of fun, taking pictures with Mina`s camera. 

I made funny poses, imitating monkeys. 

Chanmi and I asked Mina to send us the photos later. 

Mina said yes. Yesterday, I met Chanmi on the way to school. 

Hi, Yujin. Have you checked out our school website?

Not lately. Is there something that I should see?

Mina sent me a message that she uploaded to our school website the pictures that we took at the zoo.

Really? She didn`t send me any photos. I`ll check them later. 

I called Mina.

Hello.

This is Yujin! I want you to delete my photo right away. 

Isn`t it fun to share our good experience with others?

You didn`t ask me first! I don`t want my photo uploaded.

I don't understand why you`re upset.

I hung up the phone and thought, “Am I too picky?”

A few hours later, my photo was still there. 

Some students posted a lot of unkind comments, making fun of my pose.

This morning, I walked to school, feeling embarrassed. 

Mina only wanted to share her good experience with others. 

Yujin, however, was embarrassed and angry. What was the problem?
