Lesson 1 좌우명 – 지혜의 말

급훈 – 학교 생활을 위한 격언

오늘 민지와 학급 친구들은 영어 수업의 급훈을 고를 것입니다. 그들의 세 가지 다른 좌우명에 대해 읽어봅시다.

「민지」

“그것은 어려운 일이 아니다. 그것은 열심히 하라는 것이다.”

우리 모둠에서는 hard라는 단어를 가지고 해 봤어요. 첫 번째 hard는 ‘어려운’이라는 뜻이에요. 두 번째 것은 ‘열심히 노력하여’라는 뜻이에요. 그래서 이 좌우명은 가장 중요한 것은 우리가 최선을 다하는 것이라는 것을 의미해요. 영어 수업 시간에 최선을 다합시다.

「유진」

“모두는 하나를 위해, 그리고 하나는 모두를 위해.”

우리는 급훈이 우리 모두를 하나로 묶어야 된다고 생각했어요. 마침내 우리는 좋은 것을 영화에서 찾았어요. 이 좌우명으로 우리는 훌륭한 반을 만들기 위해 한 팀이 되어 함께 할 거에요. 우리 모두 각자 서로를 도울 거에요. 나는 이 좌우명과 함께라면 우리의 학교 생활이 더 쉽고 더 행복할 거라고 생각해요.

「지훈」

“항상 미소지어라. 공부도 하고 놀기도 하라. 무엇이든 할 수 있다.”

우리 급훈은 ‘ABC’가 되어야 합니다. ‘ABC’라는 좌우명은 매우 특별해요. 왜냐하면 각 문자가 의미를 담고 있기 때문이죠.

‘A’는 ‘항상 미소지어라’의 첫 자에요. ‘B’는 ‘공부도 하고 놀기도 하라’의 첫 자에요. ‘C’는 ‘뭐든지 할 수 있다’의 첫 자에요

우리는 항상 미소짓고, 공부도 놀기도 열심히 하는 게 어떨까요? 그러면 우리는 뭐든지 할 수 있어요. 제 생각으로는 이 좌우명과 함께라면 우리는 더 행복하고 건강한 반이 될 거에요.

Today Minji and her classmates are going to pick a class motto for English class.

Let's read about their three different mottos.

Minji

"It's not hard work. It's working hard."

My group played with the word "hard."

The first "hard" means "difficult."

The second one means "with a lot of effort."

So this motto means that the most important thing is doing our best.

Let's try our best in this English class.

Yujin

"All for one, and one for all."

We thought that our class motto should bring all of us together.

We finally found a good one from a movie.

With this motto, we will work together as a team to make a great class.

Every one of us will help one another.

I think our school life will be easier and happier with this motto.

Jihun

Always smile

Both study and play

Can do anything

Our class motto should be "ABC."

The motto "ABC" is very special because each letter means something.

"A" is for "Always smile."

"B" is for "Both study and play."

"C" is for "Can do anything."

Why don't we always smile, study hard and play hard?

Then we can do anything.

In my opinion, we will make a happier and healthier class with this motto.
